(In En) This publication reports the deliberations of the Steering Committee Meeting of the Cereals and Legumes Network (CLAN). The meeting reviewed the activities of the network of 1993-95, and identified the needs and opportunities for future collaborative research and technology exchange. The role of ICRISAT''s research project and research support programs was sketched and discussed, as were potential contributions from regional and international institutions. The recommendations of the meeting include enhanced cooperation and linkages among member countries for research and methodology involving sorghum, pearl millet, chickpea, pigeonpea, and groundnut, and related natural resource management in the production systems where these crops are grown.
