This space of agropedia portal deals with the certified contents added to the portal mainly by the agricultural scientists of the consortium partners of the project in the form of 'Library' content, 'Crop Calendar' or 'Dos and Don'ts' on the nine selected crops- Chickpea, Groundnut, Litchi, Pigeonpea, Rice, Sorghum, Sugarcane, Vegetablepea, and Wheat. Library: The document like contents. Crop Calendar: Month-wise package of practices of agricultural crops "Dos and Don'ts: Important information about what should and should not be done during crop production & allied fields.

There are different methods to search for different types of content, like
Library content can be searched through index or through browsing knowledge models or through general search option
'Crop Calendar' by clicking on the months from the month-table and
'Dos & don'ts'by clicking on crops in the crop-table

Enter into the specific type of content as Library, Dos and Don'ts, or Crop Calendar where you want to add content. Then click on the 'Add Content' option.

Any existing content can be modified or edited only by the creator of that content. He has to select the content where he will get the Edit option through which he can edit his content.

 

The content is not shown in the website, till it is not checked and published by the agropedia administrator. In the mean time you can view the content under the 'Shortcuts' available on the left hand side of the agropedia homepage as 'Unverified post'.

In 'Extension Material' only the certified contents are available. If any user uploads a content in any section of the Extension Material, the content will directly go to the 'Unverified' posts page. The content will be published on the agropedia homepage only after it is verified by the administrator or an agri expert.

 

To modify the existing content in the Extension Material

• Click on the the content you want to modify, then
• Click on the 'Edit' button and modify the content
• Click on the 'Save' button to save the modofications done.

 To write comment and suggestion on any content:-

   Go to Extention Material section and Click on the link of the content

   The content will open and then click on 'Add new comment'

   Write your comment and click on 'Preview' and then click on the 'Save' button

Agrowiki is developed by using the concept of ‘Wiki’, popularised by wikipedia i.e. everyone is able to search and create content regarding agriculture, and share it with their peers. Here one can also visualize and upload images and audio abd video files in addition to text.
