State: Gujarat

GAUG-1: It is a bunch type of variety, which was released for general cultivation in Gujarat. It matures in 95-100 days. It is recommended to grow under rainfed conditions. It is susceptible to tikka disease. It has 70 percent shelling out turn and 50 percent oil content its yield potential is 15-20 quintals per hectare.

GAUG-10: It is a spreading variety, which was released for general cultivation in Gujarat. It matures in 11-125 days. Its yield potential is 20-25 quintals per hectare. It is recommended to grow under rainfed conditions. It has 70 percent shelling out turn and 50 percent oil content.

PG-1: It is a spreading variety recommended for cultivation under rainfed conditions in Punjab. It matures in 130 days. It has a shelling percentage of 69. It yields about 14-16 quintals per hectare. Seeds contain 49 per cent oil.
