FISH FINGERS

Fish fingers is a delicious and tasty value added fish product prepared from fish meat as the base material. The meat is minced with cooked and mashed potato starch in the ratio of 60: 40 along with other ingredients into a fine paste. The paste is spread on a stainless steel/aluminium tray and freezed for 2 hours at -40°C. The frozen paste is cut into fingers of desired size (60 x 10 x 10 mm). The individual fingers are dipped in bengalgram flour batter (25 %) and deep fried in refined vegetable oil. The fish fingers can be served hot with tomato sauce.
