Phyllody: Cucumber mosaic virus
Symptoms :
Excessive proliferation of branches with smaller leaflets, giving a bushy appearance to the plant.
The flowers are converted into leafy structures.
Diseased plants are scattered in the field and are more easily spotted at flowering and podding time.
At the time of crop maturity, when the healthy plants are drying, the diseased plants in the field will be conspicuously green.
