New initiative of agropedia and aAQUA training at Summer School

A seminar on agropedia and aAQUA was delivered in a summer school entitled 'Advances in Crop Production under Fragile Ecosystems', organized by Centre of Advance Studies, Department of Agronomy, College of Agriculture, GBPUA&T, Pantnagar from Mar.15, 2010 to Apr.4, 2010. The associated scientists of the NAIP project Dr.D.K.Singh (for organic basmati Rice), Dr. Rajeew Shukla (for wheat), Dr.Gyan Prakash (SRF), Dr.Akanksha Gupta (SRF) and Ms. Kiran Yadav (ICRISAT fellow) jointly delivered the seminar. The participants of training were Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Extension personnel of the KVKs from all over the country. These scientists took great interest in the training and asked number of questions making the session more interactive. All of them got registered in aAQUA and agropedia portals. Hands on session on portals 'aAQUA and agropedia' is proposed to be held during the summer school session.
