IronThis deficiency can be corrected by a foliar spray of 0.5% ferrous sulphate.
Common Iron Deficiency Symptoms
In calcareous soils with a high pH, chlorosis is caused by the non- availability of iron due to waterlogging.
- Chlorosis on the terminal three or four newly formed leaves .
- If severe, the affected leaves wither and die.
- The rachis withers from the tip back towards the base.
