Experience on Agropedia

My Experience about the workshop on “Use of AGROPEDIA”.

I do appreciate the modalities that are taken up in building AGROPEDIA.NET.

The Workshop on Use of AGROPEDIA was organized on 23rd January, 2012 at ICRISAT, Hyderabad.

The programme started with registration, followed by the short and crisp Inaugural Session, in which Dr. NT Yaduraju welcomed all the participants and gave a brief note on the Workshop.

This was followed by the address by G. Dileepkumar, Global Leader.

This was followed by presentations on Agropedia in general by Dr. NT Yaduraju, which was very informative. Afterwards the scientists from IIT Kanpur presented the working of the web portal. Mr. Shaik N Meera elaborately explained the working of RKMP. The presentations on v-KVK and KVK-Net were of much helpful to the farming community, if made available for use at free of cost.

About the website on Agropedia, eventhough it is in the initial stage and under project mode, it is built by highly professional people and it looks flawless.

All the presentations were highly educative, informative and will help both scientists and farmers in the long run, if executed at national level.

I would like to thank all the scientists working in the project.

Suggestion:   It would have been more effective, if this workshop would have been more elaborative and spread over one week duration.
