Dhanuka Kheti ki Nayi Takneek

Every farmer dreams to reap maximum profits from his crops whether it is cotton, rice, maize, cereals, oil seeds, vegetables, fruits, plantations or any other crop to name with, but he is not able to turn his dream into reality, as he is not able to harness the quality yield potential from the crops he grows, because of absence of quality inputs and right use of technology.

To help farmers, increase their productivity and comfort level, Dhanuka Group, ever since its inception, has been propagating the use of quality inputs, balanced use of fertilizers, judicious and need based crop protection measures, with emphasis on right spray technology by offering top quality, eco-friendly crop protection range, right from seeding to harvest, through their collaborators of international repute.

Judicious use of fertilizers:

To raise a healthy crop, the two basic inputs are soil and seed and it is always advisable to get the soil tested and recommendation obtained, for the use of various inorganic fertilizers. After getting proper recommendations, NPK and other micro nutrients may be applied. To maintain the soil texture and fertility, practice optimum tillage and apply Dhanuka Dhanzyme Granules @ 8 kg/acre, at the time of sowing.

Micro nutrients:

Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K) are the primary nutrients and are required in large quantities, where as Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Sulphur (S), Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Zinc (Zn), Copper (Cu), Boron (B) and Molybdenum (Mo) are micro-nutrients and are responsible for important functions of plant growth, such as cell respiration, activation of enzymes, reproduction, timely maturity, cell division, nitrogen fixation etc; to name a few. These micro-nutrients should be supplemented from time to time for a balanced and nutritive plant growth.

Importance of quality seeds and seed treatment:

When the seed is put into soil, it has various disease pathogens on its seed coat, inside and also in the soil. To safe guard the seed from these pathogens and to obtain full potential, the seed needs to be treated with Vitavax Power, an ideal combination of systemic and contact seed treatment fungicides with plant growth stimulant properties, @ 2-3 g/kg of seed. For efficient management of early attack of sucking pests, treat the seed with Media 70 WS @5-15 g/kg of seed and for control of downy mildew, damping off and white rust, with Metal D @6-10 g/kg of seed.

Manage weeds in time to keep crop free from weeds:

During early stages of crop growth, a variety of broad and narrow leaf weeds appear and compete with the costly inputs meant for the crop growth. Depending upon the crop, variety of weeds, Targa Super @300-400ml/acre, Weedmar Sodium Salt @ 500-700 g/acre, Qurin @ 15g + Procombo @ 250 ml/acre, Dhanutop@1000ml/acre, Craze@400-500 ml/acre, Hook@8g + Activa 200 ml/acre, Noweed @1500-2000ml/acre should be used judiciously, using right nozzle and appropriate water volumes. In addition, it is equally important to keep the right irrigation channels and bunds free of weeds, by using Noweed@1500-2000ml/acre, as the seeds of these weeds travel to crop area with the nutrients meant for the crop.

Irrigation

Providing right quantity of water in time, is the key to raise a healthy crop. With water availability becoming scarce, monsoons playing truant, we need to use this resource judiciously and in most effective manner. Adopting modern techniques of irrigation, such as drip, sprinkler, under ground pipes, etc; not only optimize the water consumption, but are capable of delivering fully water soluble fertilizers, like Samadhan directly on to foliage effectively. Where irrigation is done through conventional irrigation channels, make sure that the irrigation channels are kept clear of weeds, to ensure free and smooth flow of water. Farmers should also develop facilities on their farms to harvest rain-water.

Foliar nutrition:

As the plant grows further it needs to be supplemented with nutrients to have a healthy vegetative flush, to be subsequently converted later into timely reproductive phase. Use of Samadhan, a 19:19:19 NPK foliar fertilizer @800g-1.25kg/acre, ensures the quick availability of inputs required for healthier vegetative growth, stimulates flowering, fruit setting, improves health, vigour of plants, to enable them withstand adverse climatic conditions to finally give higher quality yields, as it is very quickly absorbed by the leaves.

Providing organic fertilizer for quality yields:

when the plant enters into the reproductive phase it starts producing fruiting bodies. At this stage the plant further requires major and micro nutrients and application of dhanuka Dhanzyme Liquid@200ml/acre, gives fillip to profuse tillering and higher number of fruiting bodies.

Managing sucking pest complex:

A variety of insect-pests and diseases during its most critical period of growth and Dhanuka Group's eco-friendly, highly crop specific product range provides effective solutions to these problems. For the effective control of sucking pests like aphids, jassids, thrips and white fly, Media@50-80ml/acre, Aaatank@300-400ml/acre, Dhanpreet@40-80g/acre, Caldan 50 SP@300-400 g/acre, should be used as per the pest intensity.

Effective disease management:

Apart from insects attack, many other pathogens and bacteria adversely affect the growth and yields of crops. These pathogens cause damage to the crops in the form of various diseases, starting right from the seedling stage to harvest. The symptoms appear in the form of small spots on leaves initially which later on spread to stems, shoots, flowers and fruits/end produce, thus adversely affecting the profitability of the farmers.

For the effective management of these fungal and bacterial diseases in various crops, use Sheathmar @ 400-500ml/acre for sheath blight of rice, Kasu-B@300-400ml + Dhanucop @500g/acre, Dhanteam @120g/acre, Sixer @ 250-300g/acre, Dhanustin @150-200g/acre, Dhanuxyl@400-500g/acre, Dhanuka M-45@ 500g/acre.
