Black ant feeding on larva of rice hispa

Very recently i noticed a unique thing. Our plant clinic recieved a paddy plant sample severly infested with hispa grub. To our surprise the very next day we found that there was harly one left on the plant. Astonished, i decided to put a fresh sample of it again at the same place in the morning, by evening i caught the culprit, they none other then common black ant. Now i just want too know is it a common site and if so can it be tried on field, although i know its difficult to manage ants, but , is it a possibility, please do comment
