Drying and defoliation of leavesGeneral Information
caused by Pseudomonas syringae / Pseudomonas pisi. Wet and warm (30oC) conditions favor disease development.Symptoms
Leaves dry up and are shed.
The disease may show up as post- emergence damping off, killing the seedlings within 3 - 4 days. Lesions on leaves turn dark brown, and cause a soft rot of infected tissues.
Control:
No control measures are known.
