ABOUT US: The Maharashtra Krishi Vidyapeeth, http://mpkv.mah.nic.in, Rahuri is established on March 29, 1968 and subsequently named as Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV) after a great social reformer "Mahatma Jyotiba Phule". The Campus is situated 160 km from Pune on Pune-Delhi highway in Ahmednagar district.

ABOUT US: Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (http://igau.edu.in) This University has evolved over the decades from colonial times when the British set up an agricultural research station at Raipur known as Labhandi Farm. The site has seen several establishments over the years such as the MPRRI(Madhya Pradesh Rice Research Institute) in 1974, a Rice Research Station had been setup in the mid sixties .

ABOUT US: The Navsari Agricultural University (http://www.nau.in ) gained the status of a separate agricultural university from May 1, 2004. The university caters to the needs of the farmers of the plantation crops in the heartland of Gujarat; the Kanam zone of cotton, sorghum and pigeon pea and hill millets of tribal belt. This area is also well known for its forest tree species like teak, Khair, Kalam and bamboo.
