ABOUT US: Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (http://igau.edu.in) This University has evolved over the decades from colonial times when the British set up an agricultural research station at Raipur known as Labhandi Farm. The site has seen several establishments over the years such as the MPRRI(Madhya Pradesh Rice Research Institute) in 1974, a Rice Research Station had been setup in the mid sixties .
ABOUT US: Chaudhry Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (www.hau.ernet.in)The Haryana Agricultural University was established on February 2,1970, as a result of bifurcation of the erstwhile Punjab Agricultural University. From 31st October, 1991, it has been renamed as"Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University". The main campus of the University is situated at Hisar.
