Cost of cultivation of desi (Herbaceum/Arboreum) Cotton (Per Acre) - 2007-08.

Total cost of cultivation: Rs. 5280 per acre ( Rs. 13,200 per hectare)

Gross returns: 4q/ac kapas @ Rs.1700/q = Rs.6,800/ac ( Rs.17,000/ha)

Net returns: ( 6,800 - 5280) = Rs. 1520/ac ( Rs.3,800/ha)
