1. ಕೇವಲ ಶಿಫಾರಸು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ತಳಿ/ಹೈಬ್ರಿಡ್ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಲು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬೇಕು.
2. ಕುಲಾಂತರಿ ಹತ್ತಿ (ಬಿಟಿ) ತಳಿ/ಹೈಬ್ರಿಡ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಖಚರ್ಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಲಾಭ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದು.
3. ಘಟಪ್ರಭಾ ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಚರ್್ ಮೊದಲ ಪಾಕ್ಷಿಕದಿಂದ-ಎಪ್ರಿಲ್ ಮೊದಲ ಪಾಕ್ಷಿಕದವರೆಗೆ ಬಿತ್ತುವುದು ಸೂಕ್ತ.
4. ತುಂಗಭದ್ರ ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ಸವಳು ನೀರನ್ನು (5 ಡಿ.ಎಸ್/ಮೀ) ಬಳಸಿ ಜೂನ್ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನಂತರ ಕಾಲುವೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹಾಯಿಸಿ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ದುಷ್ಪರಿಣಾಮವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಧಿಕ ಇಳುವರಿ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದು.

CULTIVATION
