This training on agropedia is something very useful for agri research scholars like us, as we can both learn and contribute to the vast agro-information pool.Besides being a knowledge repository , this site is also working as a social networking site, which could connect students, experts, and farmers as well in a very interactive manner.

A training on the introduction and the effective use of Agropedia was organised at GBPUA&T, Pantnagar by Directorate of Extension Education for Ph. D. scholars of University. Professionals and Experts form IIT Kanpur and Patnagar guided all the participants. They made understand about the different uses of agropedia, creation of concept maps, registration proceedure, agrochatting, agrobloging and also gave the opportunity to perform it practically.

yesterday evening when i went to thedepartment i recieved an invitation fron directorate of extension, it was about some training on agropedia, although i was not unaware of the term still no excitment was there for such a training, today when i enterd in the training room, it was because of one of my friends force, bt i found it highly relevant. now i realised what i was about to miss, this is a revolutionary innovative idea, this will be the futre of course,
